FCFASSEL Academy Claims Bronze at 2024 World Cup in Anlaya
The FCFASSEL Academy, one of the top youth soccer development programs in the region, earned a bronze medal at the 2024 World Cup tournament held in Anlaya this past summer. This marks the academy's first-ever podium finish at the prestigious international youth competition.
The FCFASSEL squad, composed of players aged U15, battled through a challenging tournament schedule to reach the semifinals. They opened with convincing wins over academies from spain and portugal, showcasing their technical skills and tactical discipline.

In a major upset to start the annual Youth Soccer Invitational, the FCFASSEL Academy from Liberia defeated powerhouse Turkish club Target Spor 2-0 in their opening group stage match.
The young players from FCFASSEL, ranging in age U15, came into the tournament as heavy underdogs against the more experienced and accomplished Target Spor squad. However, FCFASSEL quickly proved they belonged on the same field as their high-profile opponents.
